Do you have a wedding registry / wedding list ?

After our wedding, Nath will join Ambre for a year in Kuopio (Finland), and we’ll only return in France for good in fall 2027. We will therefore wait a bit before we buy any more furniture, and we’d rather simply have monetary donations. Those will also help some guests, who might not have money for the trip to Paris, attend our wedding.

If you wish to make a personal gift, please choose something that we can easily move between countries twice in a year. Nath also wishes to let you know Ambre already has way to many books and giving her more of those is probably a crime.

Can I come with my partners? Children? Pets?

Of course you can bring as many partners as you want (within reason), nobody should be restricted to just one person.

Children are welcome. We plan to hire a couple of baby-sitters for the evening. Although we do not guarantee they will be able to manage in English (or other languages) with non-francophone children. Of course, the children can stay with the rest of the crowd too.

Unfortunately, the Clos du Colombier does not accept pets, even outside buildings. There are guard dogs in the nearby farm which would react poorly to the presence of unknown animals.

Is there a dresscode ?

Yes ! As mentionned in the invite, we’ll be rocking red and black, like (among other things) :

Of course nothing is mandatory, the dresscode is simply here to provide a theme for those who want it! Come dressed in what makes you feel good.

I wish to come but I am a bit short money-wise…

As mentionned above, we plan to dedicate a part of the donations to helping people that wish to come but are in financial trouble. If you are in this case, just contact us, and we will discuss it.

Help!?! The hotel cancelled my reservation?

Sadly we are aware of it and face the same problem for our own room. Other hotels in the Fontenay-Trésigny village are also fully booked. The only nearby hotel with available rooms, to the best of our knowledge, is the Royaume des Lions 6km away, but it is rather expensive.

It is possible to sleep in a tent on the parking lot (up to available space), which is covered in grass so it shouldn’t be too hard on your back.

Furthermore, we have booked a house at Tournan-en-Brie (14km from the Clos du Colombier), the Clos de la Gare, with 3 double beds and 8 single beds, and space for some camping mattresses on the floor. Please don’t hesitate if you want to sleep there, we currently have room available.

How long can we stay on Sunday for post-wedding brunch and games ?

We have the room until 6pm, but we’ll also have to clean it up a bit. In order to avoid any rush, we plan to end the brunch and games around 4pm (or, if you prefer “16am”).
